On October 4, 2010, Celanese Corporation (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company had declared a cash dividend of $0.05 per share on its Series A common stock. The cash dividend is for the period beginning on August 2, 2010 and ending on and including October 31, 2010 and is payable on November 1, 2010 to holders of record as of October 15, 2010. DALLAS, October 4, 2010 – Celanese Corporation (NYSE:CE), a leading global technology and specialty materials company, today declared a quarterly dividend of $0.05 per share on its common stock, payable on November 1, 2010.
 
The dividend is payable for the period beginning August 2, 2010 and ending on and including October 31, 2010 to owners of record as of October 15, 2010.
