Jimmy Yu Joins Celanese as Korea Managing Director

Celanese Corporation (NYSE: CE), a global technology and specialty
materials company, announced today that Jimmy (Ji Seon) Yu has joined
Celanese as Managing Director for Celanese Korea, Ltd.
In this role, Mr. Yu will oversee the company’s commercial, government
affairs, industry and administrative activities in Korea. He will be
based in Seoul, South Korea.

and appropriately respond to industry conditions and customer

Mr. Yu has more than 20 years of experience in semiconductor and
specialty materials in the chemical industry. Most recently, he was the
country manager with ATMI Korea. Previously, Mr. Yu was general manager
for Rohm and Haas Electronic Materials CMP Korea Co., Ltd.
Mr. Yu graduated from Inha University Korea and holds a Master of
Science degree in Chemical Engineering.
